Matt Black

About

Known for his engaging, genuine delivery and sense of humour, Melbourne’s Matt Black brings a unique flavour to the classic songs of the past 60 years, and is the perfect live entertainment choice for your wedding, corporate event, birthday party, or venue.

Matt performs either live and acoustic, or with subtle acoustic accompaniment using pre-recorded real instruments. If you closed your eyes you’d swear you were hearing an acoustic duo or trio. And once the party gets going he can switch to electric guitar and full band backing tracks, recorded live using real instruments played by Matt himself in his studio. No tacky midi drums and synthesisers – these are real instruments, played with groove and soul by a real musician. The result is a genuine live band sound that has to be heard to be believed.

Matt provides professional level audio production and lighting and a DJ service during breaks. With a list of over 5000 songs on hand, from 50s rock n roll to the latest Top 40 hits, he can take requests all night.
