Play to Grow

About

We are a 100% Australian owned and operated family business passionate about play, the magic of childhood, fostering whole child development, and protecting Mother Earth and her people. We offer a growing selection of quality, unique, educational and traditional eco toys from birth through to middle childhood.

Our vision is for children to have a magical learning journey through play. They can "play to grow".

Our values drive the way we run our business. We believe that sustainability, fair trade and helping disadvantaged communities are important values that should guide our decisions.

Eco

We are passionate about natural materials and fibres, quality design, and eradicating the devastating impact of chemicals and harmful plastics on our children. We are dedicated to protecting and preserving our natural environment for our children's children. All of our products are eco-friendly, natural, safe, non-toxic and ethically made from sustainable and renewable resources. We love our Mother Earth! Quality materials and beautifully crafted workmanship is an important feature of our toys and products. We want to see toys being enjoyed and passed from one generation to the next.

Educational

Our products aim to stimulate children to achieve higher levels of intellectual, emotional and physical development whilst embedding values - mind, body and spirit. We support Steiner/Waldorf, Montessori, RIE and Reggio Amelia approaches to nurture the whole child. We believe every parenting journey is unique, so whether you are a homeschooler or in traditional formal education, strictly follow one approach such as Montessori or Steiner, or choose to mix the styles to create your own unique voice and belief system, we support you and offer a growing range or products to support your needs.

Magical

Play to Grow is all about the child at heart in everyone, fostering enchantment, beauty, spirit and wonder. With an innate reverence for children and the natural environment, our range allows children's imaginations to shine and nurtures creativity and individuality. You won't see branded-character based products, or "all the annoying bells, beeps and whistles" types, or plastic-fantastic toys here. We believe that by offering children open-ended and natural play-things with forms, textures and colours that nourish the senses and stimulate children's thinking and imagination supports optimal growth, independence and confidence.

Unique

Every child on our planet is unique and deserving. We carefully source and nurture our relationships with fair trade suppliers that help local communities in developing countries and the disadvantaged, and support fellow family businesses. Our products are global and range from proudly Australian-made to finely crafted European toys to pass down the generations to handmade in the Himalayan mountains by women who would otherwise not be able to work to help support their families. We offer you an exclusive collection that is unique, full of charm and not found in mainstream stores.
