My Bookshop sells and exchanges quality secondhand books and if the right books come along we buy them as well. We have a wide variety of secondhand fiction and non fiction, from that 'must have' title or new release, to that hard to find, out of print Tasmanian fishing or antiquarian book.

The shop in Elizabeth Street is an inviting space, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere in which to browse through the thousands of titles that are on offer. There are books in genres including modern and classic literature, sci fi, fantasy, thrillers, paranormal romance, general fiction, crime fiction, classics, travel, history and many more.

The Antiquarian and Collectable room is full of Tasmanian History and Tasmanian Trout fishing books, as well as a huge selection of out of print and early edition children's books, literature and non fiction.

my bookshop also features art works for sale by local and Australian artists such as John Perceval, Charles Blackman, David Scholes, Alan McIntyre and Tony Smibert. We also have Campbell and McHugh pottery for sale.
