Day Bukh Architects

About

We at Day Bukh Architects are deeply interested in designing ecological and sustainable buildings for the Australian context. Our ecological concerns extend beyond reducing energy use to social sustainability. This involves designing buildings that last by using environmentally friendly materials that withstand the harsh Australian environment, and also designing buildings that can be adapted for re-use, thus ensuring longevity.

Our focus on social and environmental sustainability is expressed in our aim to create buildings that have a harmonious relationship with their natural environment, rather than dominating it. We have a particularly sensitivity to the unique qualities of the Australian sunlight and landscape and where possible we encourage the use of local materials.

Our team works closely with a select group of professional consultants so that every design is intelligently informed and at the right time. Our team has special expertise in project management ensuring smooth running projects that satisfy our clients individual needs.
