Timberset

About

Timberset is a HIA Greensmart accredited builder of homes, cabins and specialty buildings, made from responsibly sourced timber, utilising a fast and simple system. Timberset homes promise to be beautiful, healthy for you and good for the environment.

About us

It's our love of timber and care of the environment that sets us apart. We offer something unique and special and we're proud to be different, focusing on sustainable building, good design and promotion of the many wonderful benefits of building in timber. Timberset homes have been built all over Australia for 30 years, on bush blocks, by the sea and in the city suburbs. They're loved for their green credentials, ease of construction, variety of designs and finishes, clean aroma and organic ambiance.

Healthy and Sustainable

Your Timberset home looks after your health, protecting you from the elements whilst regulating temperature and moisture. Wood naturally breathes, helping to combat condensation and mould and filtering the air. You'll also notice the restorative benefits of being in touch with nature. The exposed timber in your Timberset home will help your mood and creativity, as has been supported by numerous biophilia studies. Best of all you'll be proud to say that your home is combating the environmental impacts of our modern society, storing carbon for life. How many modern homes can do that?

Wonderful ways to build

Timberset builds homes across Victoria and supplies kits to builders and owner-builders across Australia. Where-ever possible we prefabricate and transport to site, minimising waste and land disturbance. We offer a range of standard designs to choose from and a new Modern '8 star' range is currently in development. We can also help you with your custom design and provide you with access to our strategic partners, offering architectural, sustainability and energy efficiency expertise. The Timberset system is perfect for all sorts of dwellings, outbuildings and even retaining walls. Let's build something wonderful for you!
