At Perth Building Inspection Service our inspections are carried out by Paul Warden - a highly qualified Registered Builder with over 30 years Western Australian and International building experience who has also been responsible for supervising the construction of many of Perth's boutique homes. Paul has priceless hands-on experience building homes brick-by-brick from the ground up so he knows how a problem in one area can 'snowball' to affect another area. It is this valuable experience that uniquely equips him with the knowledge and skills needed to carry out thorough and useful inspections.

There is no formal qualification for becoming a Building Inspector so it is vital to check what background your Building Inspector has before trusting them with your home. A Building Surveyor may have completed a surveying course but not necessarily had practical experience in the physical construction of a dwelling. A tradesman may be an expert in their particular field (e.g. an Electrician) but may not have a thorough working knowledge of other areas (such as Plumbing).
