John's Steam Cleaning is a reliable local carpet and upholstery cleaner based at Aberfoyle park, but we work in most southern suburbs.

We are a small family business, not a franchise, so you always deal directly with the business owner, not a call centre.

John's Steam Cleaning uses the hot water extraction method, more known as "steam cleaning", for superior cleaning. The main reason is that hot water extraction gives a more powerful and thorough clean than dry cleaning, and one of the few methods that does not leave large amounts of cleaning solution in the carpet.

John uses only Australian-made bio-degradable detergents which are safe for your carpets, children and pets.

The most carpet manufacturers recommend professional carpet cleaning over "Do-It-Yourself" because of the potential problems that can occur from using rental equipment - such as yellowing, over wetting, fibre tip damage, severe re-soiling, overuse of detergents, etc. and most rental units available do not adequately clean and may actually damage the carpet.

Carpets should be professionally cleaned every 8 to 10 months for best results, and for your carpets to last longer.
