Verge Pty Ltd: The Channon

About

With offices in Brisbane and Lismore, Verge has for over ten years contributed to a number of small and large projects to enhance the livability of our urban environments.

The scale of our projects ranges from the intimate living environments of domestic dwellings through to expansive landscapes comprising and including parkland, commercial development, residential development, urban and civic spaces, schools, aged care facilities and parkland.

Our services include:

Landscape Design,

Master Planning,

Urban Design,

Constructed Wetland Design,

Preparation of documentation for Tender and Construction,

Preparation of reports and documentation for Council DA and Operational Works Approval,

Environmental Impact Statements,

Public Art Procurement, and

Community Consultation.

For larger and more complex projects, Verge also Project Manages Design and Documentation processes with a range of other consultants, including Architects, Engineers, Environmental Consultants, Energy Efficiency Consultants and Lighting Designers.

We are a small team and purposefully independent one, allowing us the ability to fine-tune the best approach to deliver and exceed client expectations. This includes forming associations with other consultants, where required and appropriate, to do the same.

No two projects are the same as are no two sites. Verge embraces the diversity in context in which we have the opportunity to work and tailors our services and outputs to establish the best outcome for our clients and the environments and communities in which we work.

Our office in the Lismore Local Government Area allows us to explore our research and interest in a number of subjects, including perm-culture, 'transition towns', Eco-tourism, cultural tourism and urban and regional activation strategies.

The geographical areas in which our offices reside are no coincidence. Verge continues to extend its intellectual capacity in these places for application there and elsewhere. We feel we have much to offer, but understand that there is also much to draw from in an evolving creative practice - wherever it is applied.
