Dardy Gardens

About

I have over 25 years experience landscaping in the South West and I offer a complete solution for your place from elegant poolscapes to hardy native verges and everything in between. I design and install landscapes and reticulation and am happy to have as much or as little input from my customers as they desire.

Additionally I offer a garden makeover service for existing gardens that can save money while producing exceptional results.

I can provide detailed 3D pictures of what your garden will look like before a shovel hits the ground as well as 2D working plans. This is a great option for DIYers.

I provide ongoing maintenance programs for your new or existing landscape.

I also provide garden maintenance services to properties in and around Dardanup, Boyanup, Eaton Australind and Bunbury.

Previously I've been involved extensively with display home landscaping as well as large jobs such as schools and hospitals. These days I'm focused on house and rural landscaping and my aim is to offer great service and a result that's a bit different from the neighbours.

Have you ever noticed the amount of yellow lawns around? You may or may not know that this is in large part due to a lack of soil preparation. Unfortunately it's not standard practice for the WA landscape industry to amend sandy soils properly. Usually, if anything, only compost or soil conditioner is added. This is not a good enough solution as the organics will leach from the sand within a year or two - the result being that you end up with sand once again.

I have adopted a method of soil amendment that not only reduces the need for water on our sandy soils but also reduces the need to fertilise. It`s not a secret method that nobody else knows about - it's just that for 90% of landscapers, sourcing the required materials goes in the too hard basket. I have these materials readily available and can amend your sandy soil relatively inexpensively. Amending sand correctly results in a much easier to maintain lawn and garden.

I live in Dardanup and am focused on servicing the areas around and near where I live - Dardy, Boyanup, Donnybrook, Brunswick, Burekup, Ferguson, Eaton, Australind and Bunbury.

If you think I may be the right person to landscape your place please call.

I`ll come by for a preliminary look and see if I can be of service. I'll outline my price structure and if required supply you with a detailed quote.

Some work is outside of my scope and experience so if I don't believe I can help you then I'll be honest with you from the outset.

Thanks for reading and all the best with your project!
