Like the name implies, the residence is surrounded by beautiful gardens in the picturesque town of Newborough and is set amongst the beautiful countryside of Gippsland, yet it is also home to a vibrant artist community that brings a creative flourish to the town.

Narracan Gardens is a 167 bed residence, providing 107 high care and 60 low care places in single and shared rooms. This arrangement provides companionship and is perfect for couples that would like to live together while receiving the benefits of 24 hour care. All rooms have a garden outlook, and many have direct access to our manicured courtyards.

Our clinical care services are managed by qualified, registered nurses and well-trained staff. We focus on individualised care, ensuring privacy, dignity, and optimum quality of life for each of our residents. Narracan Gardens is proud to offer memory support for those diagnosed with dementia, and respite, convalescent and unfunded care services are also available.

Our leisure and lifestyle program provides innovative, creative and stimulating events, which provide residents with a sense of purpose and fulfilment. We take our residents on regular bus outings, and encourage participation in community recreational activities. We also feature a miniature golf course and lawn bowling green in our gardens, which our residents and families love to use.

Additionally, Narracan has recently unveiled Café 65 – a full service café, collaborating the resources of Moe Life Skills members and volunteers, to bring residents and families of Narracan a wonderful array of barista and culinary delights each day.
