Strzelecki House is located in the historic township of Mirboo North in the north-eastern corner of the South Gippsland Shire and nestled in the Strzelecki Ranges. It is a beautiful country residence and is also conveniently located near Main Street, so that a quick walk to the local chocolate shop and famous bakery is just down the street!

We accommodate 60 beds and offer 30 high care and 30 low care places. Mirboo North has both single and shared rooms. Our shared rooms provide companionship and are perfect for couples wishing to live together with the benefit of 24 hour care. All residents enjoy our communal lounge, sun rooms, dining room, and enclosed courtyard.

Our high care section has a cinema room, complete with popcorn facilities and choc-tops from the wonderful lifestyle staff. We also pride ourselves on our new palliative care room where there is space and privacy for the whole family to be with their loved one.

Our care services are managed by qualified, registered nurses and well-trained staff, and we even have a medical clinic co-located on site. Respite, convalescent and unfunded care services are also available.

Our comprehensive lifestyle program includes individual, group, and community activities. Residents are heavily involved in our community, local carnivals and senior citizen functions. We have our own bus and often head off to Inverloch for fish and chips on the beach!
