With your first steps on the 8 hectare property, you will notice that everything at George Vowell is on a generous scale – the wide corridors, open lounge rooms, expansive gardens, large bedrooms, and especially the quality and compassionate care.

Featuring 30 low care and 60 high care beds (totaling 90 places), we offer the comfort of single rooms with private ensuites or shared rooms with private ensuite, allowing spouses the opportunity to live together with the benefit of 24 hour care services. Every room looks out onto a garden, a truly tranquil and peaceful experience.

Our leisure and lifestyle program makes great use of the beautiful landscaped gardens around the property and features extensive outdoor activities such as mini-golf, lawn bowls, BBQ areas, and more. Family and friends are always welcome at the property, and we offer a large dining room that can be booked for private occasions, a large theatre, several courtyards, and multiple sitting nooks if you just want a quiet place to chat.

George Vowell is also proud to offer dementia care in a secure and supportive environment. We also feature Extra Service beds, offering the highest industry standards in hotel type extras, from premium accommodation, additional services and dietary choices. Respite, convalescent and unfunded care services are also available.
