Millward nestles just off the Blackburn Road exit from the Eastern Freeway, allowing convenient and ideal access for our families and visitors from Blackburn, Box Hill, Doncaster, Donvale and Mitcham areas.

The residence offers 8 independent units and 40 low care and 60 high care beds. Each resident has a single room with ensuite and access to spacious day rooms, lounges and gardens.

Millward offers a truly vibrant family environment for its residents and their relatives, offering overnight accommodation for family members wishing to be close to their loved one during times of illness or during palliative care, and our memory support unit offers dedicated areas to assist those with a dementia diagnosis.

Our leisure and lifestyle program provides innovative, creative and stimulating events, which provide residents with a sense of purpose and fulfilment. We take our residents on regular bus outings, and encourage participation in community recreational activities. We foster independence amongst residents and bus services are available from the front door to Blackburn Station and local shopping areas.

We are excited to announce that we are building an extension of 30 beds and upgrading the current residence with soft furnishings. The new residence is slated to open in March 2014 and will provide modern facilities and contemporary amenities, providing the option of low care, high care and dementia specific care on a permanent basis. Respite, convalescent and unfunded care services are also available.
