She is an award winning photographer and has won at various times with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, so by doing this she is now recognised as an associate within the photography industry this status gives her the title AAIPP after her name.

Vanessa was originally from the south of Sydney - Wollongong.This is where she started her brilliant career, she was a qualified hairdresser so having a creative flair already, it was so easy for her to transfer into the photographic industry. She moved to Sydney in 1990 where she set up the leading studio of Sydney. Then in 1994 she was looking for a change with a new environment, she packed her bags and moved to Brisbane in where knowing what she has already done in Sydney she again wanted to do what she knew best...This is where she again used her talent and set up, Letchford Photography, she was co-owner with her partner at that time. She ended her co-ownership in 2001. This gave Vanessa the opportunity to go it on her own with her wealth of experience and knowledge she created her own business BODE PHOTOGRAPHY in 2002. Vanessa now spends her time between the two places she loves Brisbane & Wollongong.
