Aldona Kmiec Photography

About

I'm a trained commercial photographer, lived and worked in Poland and UK before relocating to Australia.

I am passionate about modern portraiture and local community development. I represent Ballarat as a Multicultural Ambassador in 2012-2014 and work on a pilot book project called ‘My Australia’ focusing on migration stories.

I have been involved in wide array of commercial photography for small business clients and government projects, social documentary and public art projects. My current projects include "100 Faces" documenting people I meet on my journey and Art Under the Floorboards - commissioned Artist Residency with Uniting Care Ballarat.

I take commissions for portrait & editorial assignments, lifestyle homes & gardens and social documentary assignments.

"How lucky we were to have our friend and amazing photographer Aldona Kmiec get our special day on film with such care and style.

Photos of the guests including children enjoying the apple trees and all ages digging into the food, sit alongside lovely shots of the ceremony and happy couple! A particularly special shot of our friend’s Phil and Ange capture her pregnant belly only days before they gave birth to their first child!

Thanks so much, a highly recommended photographer for any occasion- professional, versatile and creative, what more could you want?"
