Henley Beach provides a popular sandy beach, which extends the length of the suburb, and the well-known Henley Square which is located beside the Henley Jetty on the Esplanade, offering a variety of shops, hotels and restaurants. There are also many parks within the area including the Henley Grange Memorial Oval and the John Mitchell Oval. Henley beach is in close vicinity to West Lakes and Glenelg and the surrounding suburbs include Grange, Henley Beach South and Fulham Gardens.
