Aquasonic

About

Aquasonic Leak Detection is a small family owned & operated plumbing business specialising in leak detection and the repair of burst water pipes.

The original Keegan Plumbing, now known as Aquasonic, was established in the early 1990s in the field of general maintenance, by Brett Keegan together with business partner and wife, Trish. They have since guided the company towards electronic water leak detection becoming one of Perths leading and respected operators of choice.

The Keegan family has been working with water since 1933 when Bretts grandfather, Bill, began installing windmills and bores in the goldfields and later commencing his own highly respected business, W J Keegan & Co. as an irrigation engineer in 1941. Bill Keegan went on to install the original fully automatic reticulation system at the Karrinyup golf course in the mid 1960s.

Bretts father Geoff, of G J Keegan & Co., a well respected retired licensed plumber & past member of the Master Plumbers Association, spent almost 40 years in the trade providing quality service to new housing developments during the sixties and seventies followed by a long period in the maintenance field whereupon he decided to purchase a leak detection unit thereby setting in motion the groundwork for the present Aquasonic Leak Detection.

The Keegan family motto is still very much part of the current business objective, where quality of service, honesty & pride in workmanship are at the forefront of every job attended.
