Simon's Moving Service: Melbourne

About

Melbourne removalists Simon's Moving Service are the moving professionals businesses and individuals come to when they want the job done right. We often hear of people hiring cheap removalists only to find they don't arrive on time or show at all, neglect to inform of their customers of all associated costs and it goes on.

At Simon's Moving Service we pride ourselves on reliability, integrity and transparency.

Our staff are fully trained, experienced, well presented professionals who take pride in their work and are people you can trust in your home with your precious belongings.

Our guys actually enjoy what they do and the challenges of moving. They all have an innate willingness to help and enjoy problem solving.

Besides offering local moving services we also do regular Melbourne to Geelong and Geelong to Melbourne removals as well as Melbourne to Mornington Peninsula and Mornington to Melbourne moves.

Instead of talking about ourselves, here are some steps and questions to help you choose the right removalists.

1. Ask friends or family if they know of any good removalists

2. Get a few written or emailed quotes disclosing ALL costs.

3. Do not base your decision on cost alone as you will find some movers will under quote you and then charge you hidden extras.

4. Ask for the names of the removalists who will be moving you on the day and their experience.

5. Ask about their '100% guarantees' and what that entails. Some will only guarantee their work if they wrap everything in cling wrap which could cost you a lot more than you bargained for.

6. If they say they are fully insured as you will find are probably not, ask for their ASIC financial services license number. Not many removalists are fully insured and if they say they are, be sure to check the fine print.

7. If you have precious items organise insurance with your home and contents insurer or there are insurance companies that will cover you just for your move.

Contact us to help you with your next move or we'd be more than happy to answer any of your questions.
