Other Store-Based Retailing in Australia

Since this group mixes many kinds of shops, begin by deciding what you want to buy and then check that a store stocks it before travelling. Phone ahead to ask about stock, special orders and whether they can hold an item for you. Compare return and exchange policies, warranty arrangements on bigger items and what proof of purchase they require. Ask about layby, delivery or click and collect if you need them. Opening hours at independent stores can vary, so confirm before you go. If you are searching for something specialised, try the more specific categories on StartLocal first, then return here.
