About

Ash McIver is an Australian Army trained Marine Fitter with over 20 years experience. Ash started his career at the age of 16 as an apprentice fitter and turner.

At the age of 18 he joined the Australian Army, where he finished off his fitter and turner apprenticeship becoming a Fitter Armourer.

During his 8 years of service, he completed various armoured vehicle weapon maintenance courses and marine maintenance courses. He also served overseas as part of the Special Forces where he used his fitter and turner skills within the local communities.

2003 he left the Army and started Get Wet Marine from his house in Seabrook. Once word got around, he quickly outgrew his backyard workshop and moved into a factory to keep up with the demand of his service.

When Ash is not working , Hell I'm always working.
