HAMANN MOTORSPORT Australia & New Zealand. Manufactory for sport automobiles
Individual high performance automobiles with most modern technology and fascinating design are the specialty of HAMANN MOTORSPORT. The company was named after the owner Richard Hamann who contributes the experience he gained in more than 20 years in motor sports. In 1986, HAMANN MOTORSPORT started to refine BMW automobiles. Already the first modified car, a BMW M3 from the E 30 series which has been converted into a turbocharger, gained world-wide recognition. The car with its 348 hp achieved a maximum speed of 273 km/h and accelerated from naught to 100 in 5.1 seconds. Up till now, HAMANN MOTORSPORT continuously extends its tuning programme and established itself as one of the most renowned and largest suppliers for BMW tuning world-wide. From the BMW 1-series up to the 7-series: HAMANN refines every BMW model of every construction year. HAMANN has been offering own rim creations for many years. The highlights among the high-quality light alloy rims are e.g. the models Anniversary I and II, Edition Race, Anniversary Race and HM EVO. But also as a refining manufacturer for luxury cars, HAMANN has made its mark. In 1994, the tuned version of a Ferrari F 40 was the starting shot for the HAMANN Ferrari refining program which has been constantly extended with the current models. Since 2002, HAMANN dedicates the same meticulousness and the same high quality standards for customising models by Mini, Porsche, Range Rover, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Maserati and Aston Martin and therefore offers its competence to a large clientele. On 10,000 square metres, HAMANN develops and manufactures products according to strictest ISO quality standards. Each HAMANN automobile and tuning part always undergoes extensive tests in order to guarantee top quality and reliability. Only when the parts meet all requirements and are later approved by the German Control Board (TUV), they can be delivered to the customer. The topmost principle for all activities in connection with drive and design is maximum quality during development and production. Naturally hand crafted, as appropriate for a manufactory.
