In sum, misleading and can be unprofessional when they don't get their way. Not having to go to a s...pecialised computer store before, I trusted PC Choice's expertise in knowing what problem/s my computer could be having and what they can do to repair it. Although they gave me the option to replace some parts that they "thought" could be causing the problem/s, they recommended I buy a new computer. So I went home with a new computer, and also kept the old one. However, my partner insisted that something wasn't right in the process and wanted to take my old computer to a family member's PC shop to have a look. Turns out that the new computer was unnecessary and the issue was easy to resolve; only one part needed a replacement. Apparently, the family member worked with the people from PC Choice in ordering parts for them, and are known for ripping their customers off like this. Most of the 5-star reviews on Google and Facebook are from people who seemingly have no IT knowledge, therefore they know which customers to take advantage of. My partner went into the PC Choice store in my place, as I was busy that day, to return the new PC and politely (but assertively) requested a refund. While I was out, I received a call from a private number, which turned out to be someone from PC Choice, and they were quite upset about it. They told me "by law, I can't get a refund" (Although under ACCC, I'm protected as an Australian consumer), but was willing to give me a refund anyway, but wanted to keep $100 for labour work, which was just simply uninstalling and reinstalling the SSD and HDD from the old to new PC. Thankfully, they were willing to co-operate and actually gave us the refund, so that ends my business with them.

I highly recommend Niyi as he is a certified Microsoft server technician and knows his stuff! Initia...lly, I called him to service my laptop and I was so happy that my boyfriend asked him to repair the casing and keyboard, and then service his laptop. Then I bought a second hand desktop that needed upgrades and a service, Niyi returned it to me quickly and as new. I highly recommend Niyi and I am sure that his new premises at Orion Plaza, Springfield is an indication as to how reliable and well priced Niyi is. I highly recommend this guy!
