Action Drama Studio Youth Classes are suitable for teenagers with a whole range of confidence levels and drama experience. The curriculum includes public speaking, role play, voice work, movement, acting skills for Film, TV and Theatre. Students work in pairs, groups and with the whole class to experience acting exercises, improvisation, script development, devising of scenes, plays and script work. The curriculum is informed by the latest research in education and is designed to meet the needs of all. The safe and encouraging class environment allows students ongoing opportunities to be creative, feel relaxed, take risks and explore a wide range of acting methods. Students are challenged to develop their own acting strengths and style. In Term 3 students begin to develop their own ideas for the development of a performance at the end of term 4. Term 4 is spent rehearsing for this production.

Action Drama Studio Adult Classes are suitable for students of any ability or level of experience. The curriculum includes Film, TV and Theatre skills, voice work, stagecraft, speaking skills including public speaking, character work, role play and voice work. Gain confidence, improved speech, public speaking and social skills for the workplace. Develop your own natural acting style through relaxation in performance and confidence building techniques. Explore the idea of acting as a vocation and receive career advice. The safe and encouraging class environment allows students ongoing opportunities to feel relaxed, be creative, take risks and explore a wide range of acting methods. Students are challenged to develop their own acting strengths and styles. Discuss your personal goals with the acting teacher who will work with you to achieve these and give you feedback. All teachers of adult classes at Action drama Studio have professional acting backgrounds and have worked in Film, Television, Theatre and educational settings.
