Action Drama Studio Youth Classes are suitable for teenagers with a whole range of confidence levels and drama experience. The curriculum includes public speaking, role play, voice work, movement, acting skills for Film, TV and Theatre. Students work in pairs, groups and with the whole class to experience acting exercises, improvisation, script development, devising of scenes, plays and script work. The curriculum is informed by the latest research in education and is designed to meet the needs of all. The safe and encouraging class environment allows students ongoing opportunities to be creative, feel relaxed, take risks and explore a wide range of acting methods. Students are challenged to develop their own acting strengths and style. In Term 3 students begin to develop their own ideas for the development of a performance at the end of term 4. Term 4 is spent rehearsing for this production.

Young Youth Acting Classes are for Grades 5-7 (ages 10- 13). Young youth classes cover the whole range of acting skills with extra focus on confidence for career, acting skills for Film, TV and Theatre, finding own acting style and creating own performances.

Senior Youth classes are for Grades 8-12 (ages 14 – 17): Senior Youth classes cover the whole range of acting skills with extra focus on Film, TV and Theatre skills, auditioning techniques, career advice, interview techniques, collaborative writing and directing of own plays. The content of plays and scripts is for mature students.

Young Youth, Drama 5:30 - 7:00pm

Senior Youth, Drama 5:30 - 7:00pm

Advanced Senior Youth, Drama - 7:00pm-9:00pm

Saturday

Young & Senior Youth, Act Dance Sing - 10:30-12:00pm

Advanced Young & Senior Youth, Act Dance Sing - 12:00pm- 2:00pm
