Maritime Training School Sydney is the #1 Boat Licence Course in Australia since 2009.

We are a family business that wants to provide superior customer satisfaction so that we are the ones that people recommend after they have had a great experience with us. Our aim is to teach and coach people about the rules and regulations of driving boats and jet skis with a high focus on safety.

The course is a 1 day course that consists of a solid theory section followed by a theory exam and practical lessons on our boat. Each person gets 1:1 time on our boat to ensure they meet the RMS requirements for the practical component of the course.

Our NSW Boat Licence Course is designed for everybody from the age of 12 and above, for both the beginner and experienved boating enthusiast alike. Whether you're new to boating and maritime, or you've been messing around in boats since you were a kid, the course will perfectly suit you. You will learn everything you need to know to get your boat licence nsw, you will also have a fantastic day out on the water too!

Our highly experienced NSW boating instructors will guide and teach you the NSW Boat Licence Course completely, with step by step instructions that everyone can understand. Our qualified trainers experience spans 35+ years of boating experience in the boat and maritime industry and is qualified in Master Class 5. They not only know the training program exceptionally well, but they are great mentors that help guide your learning, rather than just push you through. SO whether you want a boat, jetski licence, or need some help with private boat training, or looking to complete your Deckhand, Coxswain 1, 2 or 3, or Marine Radio course, we can help you.

The business is based on Sydney harbour which means you not only train to get a boat licence, but you are driving around one of the most beautiful harbours in the world!

WE have training venues in NSW and Canberra:
1. Dalbora Marina's Cabarita
- Our Maritime Training School caters for all boaters out there in the Western Suburbs. We will pick you up at 8.00am at dâ€TMAlbora Marinas Cabarita and run you over to our waterfront training room at Mosman. We will return you to Cabarita at the end of the training day. Parking is available in Cabarita Park (coin operated parking metres in use) or free street parking is available outside the park.

2. Royal Motor Yacht Club Port Hacking
- Our boat licence and jet ski (PWC) training is held in the boardroom and starts at 9am. Parking is available onsite. Lunch can be purchased from the club during the designated break or you canbring your own and enjoy the spectacular views. The practical component of the course will commence after the lunch break.

3. 3rd Mosman Sea Scouts
- Our boat licence and jetski (PWC) training is held at the 3rd Mosman Sea Scouts Hall. Morning tea and lunch are provided. Free parking is available on Harnett Avenue, at the Mosman Rowers Club and surrounding streets.

4. Rose Bay NSW
- Maritime Training School also caters for all you potential boaters out there in the Eastern Suburbs, we will pick you up at 8.30am at the Rose Bay ferry wharf and run you over to our waterfront training room at The Spit. Oh, and we will remember to drop you back off at your respective wharves when it is all complete usually around 3.30. We ensure it will be a fun day out on the Harbour, all you need to do is enrol and turn up!

5. The Dickson Tradies, Canberra Act
- Our General Boat Licence Theory course is held at The Dickson Tradies Club The course starts at 5pm and concludes around 9pm. Students are able to complete the practical on the following weekend from 11am to 2pm. Further information on the practical sessions will be available on the theory night.

We try to also cater for people in more remote areas which is why we hold courses in Canberra once per month and every 2-3 weeks in Cronulla.

Canberra is a very popular course as it consists of Fri evening from 5-9pm followed by a 1 hour time slot on sat to complete the practical component. This is convenient for working families.

We are a registered RTO 91487. Compliance with RMS, ASQA and AMSA are our top priorities as well as student safety!
