Dr David Moore

About

As a father of two young boys, Dr Moore recognises how pregnancy and childbirth can be the most exciting and trepidatious time of our lives. He understands that this time in a woman’s life requires special, personalised attention and, importantly, a sense of continuity and availability. Dr Moore strives to build successful and continuing relationships with his patients through communication, understanding, and honesty; providing expert opinion, respecting patients’ personal beliefs and values, and giving clear direction when necessary to achieve the optimal outcome.

Dr Moore’s particular interests in gynaecology include pelvic floor (prolapse) surgery and the management of urinary incontinence. He is also trained in the management of abnormal Pap smears and minimally-invasive surgical management of many gynaecological conditions, including hysterectomy. Dr Moore is also a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland.
