Dr Thu Mai is a local female Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in Infertility and IVF.

Male and female factor infertility, Ovulation Induction, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Ovarian preservation (egg freezing) and Artificial Reproductive Technology including IVF

Dr Thu Mai has extensive experience with a broad range of major Obstetrics and Gynaecology surgeries such as Hysterectomy and Prolapse surgeries. She is also an expert in minimally invasive surgeries such as diagnostic and operative Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy for ovarian cysts, endometriosis and fibroids.

* Special financial packages available for un-insured patients who wish to have surgery in private hospitals.

A range of open general Obstetrics and Gynaecology surgeries are offered as well as diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.

Dr Mai completed her Medical degree at Monash University and trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women's Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women and Sunshine hospital, in Melbourne. She undertook further training in Infertility and IVF at the Mercy Hospital for Women and Monash IVF. She also worked and trained at the Melbourne Assisted Conception Centre (MACC).
