About

At L for leather, we meet the needs for work horses (Clydesdales, Shires, Percheron, draught horses).

We make harness in the old style out of good quality harness leather and bonded polyester thread with only stainless steel fittings.

We have a website with a range of pictures of all our products for sale we can send it anywhere in Australia by Australia Post via COD so you pay the post office when it arrives.

We make winkers in plough, block and adjustable styles. We also stock bits in six and six and half inch sizes.

We have horse collars in standard collars and adjustable collar styles.

We stock hames in black. Also hame hooks and chains both black and stainless steel with five large links.

We have reins in either leather or beta in single or pairs in 16 ft, 18 ft or 22ft and can make them to suit your needs.

We manufacture back bands, adjustable back bands with belly bands.

Hobbles and quick release hobbles.

We know draught horses as I work my horses on the farm and in demonstrations with the Heritage draught horse club. I enjoy working them either ploughing or other farm work or even just using them on the road for ten days or so.
