We contacted Ace Ovens to repair the oven in our rental property in Rosebud. Very impressed with the... friendly and efficient service we received. We recently had an issue with our blanco oven and contacted blanco, who then sent out a tech from ac...e oven repair. The tech discovered the handles on the oven were making the loud knocking noise we complained about and removed them. We also mentioned the door didn't close properly, and the tech gave us a spiel about the seal wearing in, which was plausible, so we didn't push the issue. Almost six weeks later the door gap widened, to the extent that the oven became unusable, so we called blanco, who yet again sent the same tech from Ace Oven Repair. The tech showed up again with the same grumpy demeanour, looked at my oven for all of ten seconds, and told me the oven wasn't covered by the warranty. I asked what on earth he was talking about, as the oven was only 2 months old, and he preceded to tell me that I had damaged the door. I reminded him of the fact that the door had a gap when he first visited and he said the gap wasn't that big before. Well der! Does he maybe think that there was an issue with the hinges all along, or that maybe he damaged the door when he struggled to get it back on. I immediately complained to blanco, and they sent a tech from Westwood Specialty Repairs the next day. The tech was very nice and reassured me that the oven was covered by the warranty and ordered new hinges for us. The hinges were on back order, so eventually blanco decided to replace the oven. I would never recommend Ace Oven Repair, not only was the tech rude and dishonest, but also inept to top it off.
