Good day and welcome, my name is Darren and I am a freelance photographer based in Toowoomba, Queensland covering Brisbane, Coast and South East Queensland (I will travel). Many people have asked me before "What do I specialize in"? I don't like to box myself into any particular area of photography, what I can tell you is what I enjoy, what I am passionate about. I love any form of relaxed capture, from weddings, couples, singles (women and men), babies, toddlers, to families and children. I also very much enjoy high creativity for example glamor, fashion, artistic and creative nudes. I am a spontaneous person with a drive and passion for making a connection with the people that I photograph. My website is really designed to be informal, it is a place where you can follow both my professional and personal life, giving you just that little slice of me, in an attempt to know the person {Behind the Lens} which I believe is critical when selecting someone to work with you to create amazing images. I normally post images both on my Flickr site {follow the link on the top of the page to Public Portfolio}, where you can see an ever changing gallery of images, to this blog where I intend on featuring the people/moments that I capture. I hold a BlueCard to work with children. Above all I am easy to get along with and people have loved what I have been able to create for them.
