TS MacDonald Homes is a family owned and operated building company that has been established since 1999. We are committed to constructing quality homes, with an emphasis on a high level of finish while working within specified budgets.

A recent shift in the economy and building industries in Queensland has seen us spend time on research and development in the burgeoning Surat Basin Region, situated in South West Queensland, which forms a part of the Great Artesian Basin. This area incorporates some of the largest mining and infrastructure projects with an estimated value of $40 billion.

The Surat Basin is the largest mining and power development in Queensland history. It is an established, robust and productive agricultural region and also has extensive reserves of coal seam gas and more than six billion tonnes of proven thermal coal reserves. These reserves are largely undeveloped and highly suitable for electricity generation.

With an additional 12,500 full time jobs expected in the region between 2014 and 2018 and an unemployment rate of around 2%, employment opportunities within the region are unsurpassed. Job opportunities are not only limited to the energy and agricultural sectors but are available across all areas of industry and commerce as the supporting infrastructure expands to cater for the increasing population.
