The Lindisfarne Rowing Club is one of Tasmanias most successful rowing club having fielded 6 rowers that have represented Australia at the Olympics. We cater for all levels of athlete, from beginners to Olympians, masters and everything between. The Dragons Abreast Tasmania, Hobart dragon boat paddlers also operate from the club. This was the first dragon boat club established in Tasmania and caters for women recovering from breast cancer. The first floor function center is available for hire for birthdays, reunions, weddings, wakes and corporate meetings. The club allows the hirer to choose their own caterer and band (if required) Pleas download the "hire information leaflet:" from the website for prices and other information. Hirers are required to become members of the club (social membership $20) Located beside Simmons Park at the head of Lindisfarne Bay the club function centre offers a venue of wide appeal. The commercial kitchen is also available for those that want to do the catering themselves. The venue can be hire with or without the bar. All proceeds go to supporting the club and the development of its junior rowers. (more)
