Pencak Silat is a full-body fighting form incorporating striking, locking, breaking and take-down techniques. Pencak Silat is a traditional style found in Indonesia and Malaysia, grounded in warfare and tradition and is a 'no-holes-barred' style, with every part of the body subject to attack. It combines multiple attacks using all limbs with take down techniques, locks and holds rendering the opponent immobile while keeping two feet on the ground. The self-defence aspect includes how to stop weapon attacks and the use of weapons for life and death situations. This art form also offers techniques to help balance your mind, body and spirit to become all that you could be in life.
