Traditional Pilates has arrived to Western Australia with the opening of Contrology at Subiaco Oval. Contrology specialises in the instruction of 'true' or 'traditional' Pilates as created by Joseph Pilates, and then continued by his protege Romana Krysanowska.

Contrology has been established by Danielle Katich, a certified Romana's Pilates Instructor, who has spent the last decade traveling the globe as a ballet dancer, cruise ship performer and even playing Snow White at Disneyland, Hong Kong.

Danielle completed her first instructor training course in 2004. During a trip to the US, Danielle was introduced to True Pilates and decided she had to learn more. She moved to Sydney in 2010 where she studied the True Pilates Method under the tutelage of Cynthia Lochard, one of two master trainers in the world. She is now certified by the original Pilates studio in New York and is the only instructor in the State with this qualification.

Over 800 hours of training in this style of Pilates means that Danielle can teach this discipline authentically. She promises a workout that gets you moving and working hard, all with a determined focus to improve function, strength, flexibility and body condition.

Contrology is also the only studio in Perth to feature equipment shipped direct from New York and manufactured by GRATZ. Designed by Joe Pilates himself, GRATZ is the only equipment available that is built to the exact specifications of the Pilates founders design.

Contrology is located at Subiaco Road, on the Subiaco side of Subiaco Oval. Classes are available as privates or mat sessions. Duets will be made available to you once you have reached a certain level of understanding and strength. Danielle enforces a maximum class size of 6 clients and insists on personalised training for safety and results.

To create change you have to MOVE! If you're not sweating in your Pilates class... your not doing Pilates.
