Okukan: Coburg

About

Okukan teaches Shitoryu Karatedo, one of the four main karate styles in Japan. We offer regular karate classes for adults and children interested in learning the modern martial art of karate.

Students at OKUKAN Karate Melbourne have opportunities to learn quality karate for competitive sport. Beginners are very welcome at OKUKAN.

Our Melbourne dojo is located in North Melbourne, right in the heart of Coburg (Victoria Street, Coburg).

Lessons run during school holidays, all year round, for optimum training.

Okukan maintains formal relationships with:

1. Australian Karate Federation (AKF). (The president of AKF is a Shitoryu member).

2. Shitoryu Karatedo Australia, and the World Shitoryu Karate Federation (WSKF).
