Epping Eastwood Tigers are a softball and baseball club based in Sydney Australia. We cater for all ages from 5 years to 50 years and promote a strong community environment where just getting involved is the most important thing. Softball: We welcome new and experienced players to play softball on Saturdays during summer. Even if you have not played before, it is fun to learn and make friends. Girls from the age of 5 start by playing Tee ball before progressing to modball. Girls 12 and up play softball at a grade suitable to their skills and experience (we have 3 separate divisions for schoolgirls aged 12-18). Open competition is divided into A, B and C grade plus a Ladies Social division (great for cheese and crackers after a match!) Our club has been affiliated with Hornsby District Softball Association (HDSA) since 1995. We provide female softballers of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to play both socially and competitively during the spring and summer months commencing in September and culminating in the finals series during the month of March. Baseball: Boys and girls can start playing baseball at aged 5 by playing T ball and working their way up to our senior divisions which cater for anyone who still feels young enough to whack and ball and run around a few bases! Baseball is played on a rotational Friday night/Saturday day roster and we encourage anyone who has ever thought about playing baseball, or just wants to try a new sport to give it a go! We are a friendly, community oriented club that prides itself on quality coaching, a fun environment and supportive team players. We draw most of our players from the following areas: Epping, Eastwood, Beecroft, Cheltenham, Carlingford, Roselea, North Epping, Macquarie Park, Denistone and West Ryde, Ermington, Rydalmere, Dundus, Meadowbank.
