The car broker will contact one or more dealers in their network to determine the best car price possible that is within the budget of their client. The delivery and location of the dealers is also a factor that needs to be considered since most brokers offer to deliver the car to any location the client requests for a fee.
Many car dealerships today have websites where they post photos, details and prices of new cars. This has led to car brokers being less common since many websites provide broker-type systems. There are also websites that offer unlimited free listings for the convenience of the customer.
The Motor Trades Association of Australia is the peak body that represents the interests of the retail, service and repair sector of the country?s automotive industry which employs over 308,000 people. It is a federation of various states and territory motor trades associations as well as the Australian Automobile Dealers Association.
